These Terms and Conditions govern all sales, services, and use of the website www.abbeybadges.ie.
By placing an order with Abbey Badges Ltd., you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Orders and Contract Formation
All quotations provided by Abbey Badges are valid for the period stated on the quotation.
An order is only deemed accepted when:- The customer has approved the final artwork proof in writing, and
- Approved credit terms have been agreed in writing.
Abbey Badges reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order prior to production.
3. Artwork Approval and Proofing
For all custom products, a digital artwork proof will be provided prior to production.
The customer is responsible for carefully reviewing all aspects of the artwork proof including:- Spelling
- Layout
- Colours
- Logo placement
- Finishing details
Once written approval is received, production will commence.
Abbey Badges shall not be liable for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the final product where such errors were present in the approved proof.
Colour variations may occur between digital screen representations and physical production due to manufacturing processes.
4. Custom and Personalised Products
All products manufactured by Abbey Badges are custom-made to order unless otherwise stated.
Under EU consumer law, customised or personalised goods are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation right.
Once production has commenced, custom products:- Cannot be cancelled
- Cannot be returned
- Are non-refundable
In the event of a manufacturing defect, Abbey Badges will, at its discretion, repair, remake, or replace the affected items.
5. Production and Delivery
Production timelines provided are estimates and not guarantees.
Abbey Badges shall not be liable for delays caused by:- Late artwork approval
- Supply chain disruptions
- Courier delays
- Customs clearance
- Force majeure events
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon dispatch.
Delivery dates are estimates only and shall not form part of any contractual obligation.
6. Pricing and Payment
All prices are quoted in Euro unless otherwise stated.
Payment is required in full prior to production unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Abbey Badges reserves the right to suspend or cancel production for unpaid invoices.
Any bank charges, transfer fees, or currency exchange costs are the responsibility of the customer.
7. Intellectual Property
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method within 7–14 business days.
Abbey Badges reserves the right to deduct reasonable administrative or design costs where applicable.
8. Limitation of Liability
Abbey Badges’ total liability for any claim arising from an order shall not exceed the total amount paid for that order.
Abbey Badges shall not be liable for:- Loss of profits
- Loss of business
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Event disruption costs
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

Unauthorised reproduction, copying, or redistribution is prohibited.
Abbey Badges makes no warranty that the website will be error-free or uninterrupted.
11. Force Majeure

- Supply chain disruption
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
